Before Endodontic Treatment or Endodontic Surgery
Endodontic treatments will be performed using local anesthesia just like most other dental treatments. There are usually no restrictions after the procedure concerning driving or returning to work. Dr. Lazar is available for consultation at all times should a problem arise after your treatment.
Please bring with you a list of all medications you are taking and report any changes in your health status. Continue all your routine medications for blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems and any other conditions as recommended by your physician. If there is a question, please call our office prior to your appointment.
Please have a full breakfast or lunch as applicable. Also If you have been advised by your physician or dentist to use antibiotic premedication because of, heart murmur, mitral valve prolapse (MVP), hip, knee, cardiac or other prosthesis, or if you have rheumatic heart disease, please make sure to take your premedication an hour before your appointment if you were scheduled to receive treatment. If there is a question, Please call our office for instructions before the day of your scheduled visit.
